Social Media Manager Training Overview

Note: This is a dual track combined with Social Media Manager Plus Administrative Assistant.
Social media managers and strategists work to develop and maintain brand awareness on the internet. Operating profiles on various social media and networking sites, managers and strategists interact with the public in order to get a better understanding of the general likes and dislikes of customers, maintain on online presence, increase traffic, and sales if applicable. Collaborating with a team of creative professionals from marketing, advertising, public relations, and sales, social media managers analyze demographics and site traffic, strategizing new ways to more efficiently reach the consumer base and maximize exposure. This is often done by placing advertisements on sites that will target consumers, sponsoring events, teaming up with influential bloggers, and running promotional contests and sweepstakes.
This popular program is designed to teach students the social media skills to begin working as full-time social media manager for almost any type of business. Students will be recognized as online marketers capable of creating and executing social media strategies, promotional campaigns and content generation plans using the most popular social outlets available.
